OUR  STORY

Hello! 

      My name is Holley Grooms and I am a small registered TICA cattery near Savannah, GA.  I have been breeding Border Collie dogs for over 20 years and bred Maltese dogs before that.  For many years my life was on the road showing and competing at various dog competitions.  You can check out my line of dogs at holtherbordercollies.com as I am incredibly proud of them and thankful for what they've accomplished. 

     I've always had cats, but they were usually strays or rescues, barn cats, etc.  But I never considered myself a "cat person", as I was MOST definitely and "dog person".   Then came my exposure to Ragdolls - the puppycats!  They were so similar to dogs - smart, affectionate, followed me around, trainable, super funny and LOVED their owner's attention.  After I fell in love with Ragdolls, I decided I wanted to dabble, maybe test out the world of cat shows since I had been showing dogs for so long, and I also wanted to do my part to preserve the breed like we do in the world of purposely bred dogs.  Providing new owners with the love and enjoyment of a new family member is incredibly rewarding.
